Vishnu is a visual and haptic feedback based navigation system which provides only the necessary information to the
rider while on road. It connects to the user’s mobile phone and is operated via an application.
It provides directions in real time, with the haptic units vibrating on the waist and the Visual Unit on the vehicle.
This project was taken up in my fifth semester (Third year) as a semester long engineering design project, with a keen focus on problem solving and functional prototyping.
We worked in a team of 6 people (5 engineering students with different specialisations and 1 design student). I was the sole designer and the project lead.
